• Special Mention1

  Within these three months, books and racks for libraries were made available to 16 Central Prisons of 3 states i.e. UP, Chhattisgarh and Kerala and 2 libraries for foreign libraries [Mauritius and Sri Lanka ].
  This could be termed as a big achievement for the HPS.

• Meeting with DGP, Prisons, Kerala2

  Mr. Sanjiv Nigam held a meeting with the DGP, Prisons, Kerala in Thiruvanantpuram on 25th May 2018 regarding our library project. As they have books in Malyalam, English and Tamil in their Jails, it was decided to supply Hindi books to their Jails and subscribe few Hindi magazines.

• Process for admissions in Hindi – Urdu and Foreigner Classes3

  Process for admissions in Hindi – Urdu and Foreigner Classes commenced for the ensuing academic year.

• Meeting with ADG, Prisons , Telangana4

  On 8 th May 2018, A meeting was held with the ADG, Prisons of Telangana in Hyderabad in which Mr. Sanjiv Nigam discussed about our library project for Central Prisons and got the approval for the same. He was accompanied by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Tripathi.

• Jan Bhasha Diwas Conference5

  As the closing ceremony of the celebration of our 75th year, a two day All India Conference was organised on 5th & 6th May 2018 in the premises of the HPS. This conference was titled "Janbhasha Diwas" as per our ideology of Hindustani. Many renowned scholars from various fields participated in the conference. The conference was attended by lecturers, research scholars, literary persons, students etc.

• Books for Mauritius and Sri Lanka6

  Process of sending of books to Mahatma Gandhi Institute, Mauritius and Kelaniya University, Sri Lanka commenced.

• Permissions received from Jail Authorities7

  Permissions were received from Andhra Pradesh and Kerala Jail authorities to open libraries in central jails of their states.

• Visit to Nagpur Central Prison8

  On 20th April 2018, HPS team led by Mr. Feroze Patch visited Nagpur Central Jail for the inauguration of the library established by the HPS. He was accompanied by Mr.Sanjiv Nigam and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Tripathi.

• Visit to Surat and Vadodara Central Prisons9

  A team of the HPS visited Lajpore Jail, Surat and Central Jail, Vadodra to inspect the libraries set up by HPS in these jails on 12th April 2018. Mr. Feroze Patch alongwith Mr. Sanjiv Nigam and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Tripathi interacted with the jail officials and some prisoners and reviewed the functioning of the libraries. It was noted with satisfaction that prisoners are being greatly benefitted with these libraries.

• सभा द्वारा प्रकाशित परी कथाओं का लोकार्पण10

  सभा द्वारा हिंदी इंग्लिश में प्रकाशित की जाने वाली परी कथाओं में से पहली तीन कथाओं का लोकार्पण 3 मार्च 2018 को इंडियन मर्चेंट्स चैम्बर के हॉल में आयोजित एक भव्य समारोह में किया गया। इन पुस्तकों का मुद्रण हार्पर कॉलिंस द्वारा किया गया है। पुस्तकों का लोकार्पण सभा के न्यासियों - श्री सतीश शाह , श्री फ्रांसिस मैथ्यू , श्री फ़िरोज़ पैच और श्री अरविन्द डेगवेकर की मौजूदगी में मणि भवन की निदेशक डॉ उषा ठक्कर के हाथों किया गया। इन परी कथाओं का अनुवाद डॉ सुशीला गुप्ता, विशेष कार्य अधिकारी द्वारा किया गया है।
  
  इस अवसर पर दो लड़कियों ने एक परी कथा का बड़े रोचक ढंग से पाठ किया। वहाँ उपस्थित लोगों में बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थी तथा अध्यापक भी थे।

• परीक्षा विभाग द्वारा शिविर का आयोजन11

  7 मार्च 2018 को सभा के परीक्षा विभाग की तरफ से अपने अध्यापकों तथा प्रचारकों के लिए एक शिविर आयोजन किया गया जिसमें 2 विशेषज्ञों ने महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर अपने विचार रखे।

• हिंदुस्तानी ज़बान पत्रिका के 50 वर्ष पूरे होने का उत्सव12

  हमारी पत्रिकाओं हिंदुस्तानी ज़बान हिंदी तथा उर्दू के प्रकाशन के 50 साल पूरे होने के मौके पर 24 मार्च 2018 को एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन सभा के भवन में किया गया। इस अवसर पर सभा के ट्रस्टी तथा मानद सचिव श्री फ़िरोज़ पैच तथा ट्रस्टी एवं मानद कोषाध्यक्ष श्री अरविन्द डेगवेकर के हाथों पत्रिकाओं के विशेष संस्करणों का विमोचन किया गया। हिंदी तथा उर्दू के चार विशिष्ट विद्वानों , जोकि इन पत्रिकाओं के लेखक भी हैं ने पत्रिका से जुड़े अपने अनुभव साझा किये।
  
  इस अवसर पर हिंदुस्तानी ज़बान युवा की पहली वर्षगाँठ भी मनाई गयी।

• परीक्षा विभाग का वार्षिक कार्यक्रम13

  31 मार्च 2018 को परीक्षा विभाग का वार्षिक कार्यक्रम सभा के परिसर में आयोजित किया गया।

• विशेष उल्लेख14

  16 मार्च 2018 को , श्री फ़िरोज़ पैच ने श्री संजीव निगम तथा श्री राकेश त्रिपाठी के साथ एक एन जी ओ ' सहियो ' द्वारा महिलाओं से जुड़े सामाजिक विषयों पर आयोजित एक सेमिनार में भाग लिया। इस सेमिनार को कई महत्वपूर्ण लोगों ने सम्बोधित किया था। इस सेमिनार से काफी जानकारी हासिल हुई।
